First quarter 2016 data is here!

Shelter Animals Count has collected January-March 2016 shelter data (dogs and cats only) from nearly 2800 sheltering organizations, using the Basic Data Matrix. This data has been compiled along with demographic data into a searchable database available to the public, which will be updated on an ongoing basis.

The searchable database features three dashboards:

1. Summary – Provides an overview of the data collected, with the ability to drill down into a single organization or community.  Additionally, the data can be viewed based on demographic filters, organization type, species and state.

2. Comparison – Allows users to compare data for multiple organizations or communities.  Additionally, the data can be viewed based on demographic filters, organization type, species and state.

3. Timeline – Shows the data month over month and can be drilled down to an individual organization or community.  Additionally, the data can be viewed based on demographic filters, organization type, species and state.
