Michelle Brodbeck joined Shelter Animals Count in January 2023 as Data Education Coordinator. Michelle has been working and volunteering with animals since 2010. After volunteering for 6 years, she decided to do whatever it took to start a career in animal welfare. In 2016 Michelle got her start with Best Friends Animal Society working on Community Cat Programs in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Michelle spent the last 3 years working as Community Cat Program Manager for People for Animals in New Jersey. Her time working in community engagement and program development sparked her passion for data and its power to improve the lives of animals. As the Data Education Coordinator, she is excited to help shelters maximize the impact of their data to enhance the human animal bond. Michelle lives in Asbury Park, New Jersey and in her free time, she enjoys the beach, running and live music.
