Noelle Patterson, Director of Communications

Noelle Patterson joined Shelter Animals Count in September 2022 as the Director of Communications. She brings experience in graphic design, event planning, fundraising, social media management and marketing. She is passionate about animal welfare and serving the local community.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations from Messiah University, Noelle sought out ways to combine her skills with her love for animals. This ultimately lead her to working at animal shelters where she has spent most of her career, beginning at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and most recently working at Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS). She now looks forward to highlighting shelters on a national level and transparently sharing data in creative ways in order to make important changes in animal welfare.

Noelle resides in Baltimore, MD with her husband along with their three dogs and one cat. She enjoys hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
