Samantha Hill, Director of Data & Technology

Samantha Hill, MNO, joined Shelter Animals Count in 2022 as the Director of Data and Technology. A life-long animal advocate, Samantha has been passionate about utilizing data to have a positive impact on the lives of homeless pets since she began her career in animal welfare at Best Friends Animal Society in 2019.

Driven by her passion for ethical, data-driven decision-making, Samantha's primary goal is to ensure that the reporting, dashboards, and research conducted at Shelter Animals Count uphold the highest standards of quality, with the ultimate aim of benefiting a wide range of audiences committed to improving the lives of animals.

Samantha lives in Northeast Ohio with her dog, Maddie, and cats, Ollie, Ezzie and Stella.
