Shelter Animals Count expands into Canada
We are thrilled to announce that Shelter Animals Count (SAC) is expanding its data collection efforts into Canada after a successful pilot program in partnership with Humane Canada and 10 very eager Humane Canada member organizations. Starting today, Canada-based shelters and rescues are invited to register with SAC and contribute their data to our growing database.
By joining our initiative, organizations gain access to a range of benefits, including:
- Dashboards in your portal for insightful data visualization.
- Participation in coalitions aimed at collaborative problem-solving.
- Inclusion in grant opportunities to further your lifesaving efforts.
- An embeddable dashboard featuring your data for seamless integration into your website
We extend our deepest gratitude to Humane Canada for their partnership and assistance throughout the pilot phase of this expansion, as well as to the organizations that tested the functionality and provided feedback!
IMPORTANT NOTE: While Canadian organizations are now able to contribute data, SAC will not include Canadian data in U.S. reports or analyses at this time. Data submitted by Canadian organizations, however, will undoubtedly play a crucial role in informing our collective understanding and efforts to save animal lives and will be viewable on public dashboards.
