Samantha Hill joined Shelter Animals Count as the Director of Data and Technology in February 2022. She started her career at Case Western Reserve University where she discovered her passion for details, research, data and organizational impact. After completing a Masters in Nonprofit Organization, Hill sought an industry where she could combine her skillsets with her love of animals. In 2019, Hill transitioned from her work in higher education administration to support the animal welfare sector through research and data analysis at Best Friends Animal Society. As the Director of Data and Technology at Shelter Animals Count, Hill looks forward to helping animal welfare organizations use data and technology to improve the lives of pets and their people.
Hill lives in Northeast Ohio with her husband, dog and cat.
