Shelter Animals Count is a new, collaborative initiative formed by a diverse group of stakeholders to create and share a national database of sheltered animal statistics, providing facts, and enabling insights that will save lives.

Currently Director of Lifesaving Programs and Partnerships for the Petco Foundation overseeing the alignment and forward progress of both the adoption and investment (grants) programs. Most recently the Executive Director and founding employee of the Animal Care and Control Team of Philadelphia (est. 2012); formerly President and CEO of the Pennsylvania SPCA; Executive Director of the Animal Welfare Association in NJ; and Director of Operations at Philadelphia Animal Care and Control Association.

Associated with the management of animal control in Philadelphia under three different (contracted) organizations over the course of a decade handling 32K+ animals annually in peak years. Responsible for humane law enforcement for much of Pennsylvania while at the Pennsylvania SPCA & operating high volume sterilization clinics with 22K animals annually at the peak year in PA and 10K annually in NJ.
