Shelter Animals Count, the national database for animal sheltering statistics, partnered with Hill’s Pet Nutrition, a leading partner in animal welfare, to launch the Data Foundations Series, aimed at empowering animal welfare organizations with essential data knowledge and tools. This collaborative series consisted of educational blogs and webinars covering critical topics like animal welfare terminology, data standardization, and key metrics in sheltering.
In this series, Pedigree Foundation and Shelter Animals Count came together to share the latest data on dogs, present programs and practices that were working at the time, and discuss the systemic problems that needed to be solved in order to maintain humane care and achieve positive trends in lifesaving. See the recaps and recordings of each exciting webinar in this series.
